RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Orlando, FL that is seeking a RMA Technician I.Responsibilities:- In this role, the RMA Technician is responsible for the installation, preventive and corrective maintenance of Windows 7&10 Micro-Computers, video surveillance equipment cameras, RF antennas, switches, POE, UPS units, CAT 6 cabling and network communications equipment
- Diagnoses and repairs hardware, software, and system issues
- Restoring equipment to operational status as quickly as possible
- Maintenance of spare equipment and parts including inventory management
- Completes reports, logs, and performs shift-to-shift communications in accordance with established policies, procedures, and local practices
- Take initiative to identify problems and their root causes as well as participate in implementing solutions
- The RMA Technician will escalate product and process issues to management and help with problem resolution
- Follow all corporate, safety and production procedures and regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Two-year certificate from college or technical school (preferred)
- Electronic Engineering Technician (EET) certification a plus
- 2+ years of experience with servicing electronic and/or electromechanical systems or equipment
- Working knowledge of Windows 7, 10, tools, equipment, and materials utilized within the trade
- Communicate effectively and provide training and explanation of work performed
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Using test instruments like Multimeter, Oscilloscope, Power Supplies, etc.
- Basic Networking knowledge required
- Working knowledge of the practices, tools, equipment, and materials utilized within the electronic and mechanical trades
- Able to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, datasheets, assembly drawings and written work instructions
- Able to calculate materials and supplies required to perform work
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
