The objective of the LEGO Retail Merchandising Department is to function as a service provider to both internal and external customers within our organization. Exceptional customer service is key to our success, and we strive to deliver results in a timely, accurate and professional manner. The Merchandising Department controls the core & non-core product assortment for the off-line and on-line channels and visual merchandising strategies for all Brand Retail stores. Dedicated, driven and focused team members are imperative to our success.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Create Purchase Orders
  • Track Purchase Orders
  • Work with vendor on inventory reorder replenishment - Alternate weeks with US and EMEA reordering
  • Adjust POs as necessary. (qtys, dates, additional/removals, etc..)
  • Work with License team and SAP/Matrix team for product set up
  • Work with eComm/Semantix/vendor for descriptions and assets
  • Review OOS/inventory/on order and work with Merch Manager for re-orders
  • Work with vendor in order to supply Asst Coordinator with accurate launch and exit dates
  • Collaborating with both external agencies and other LEGO® partners when necessary.
  • Work with Merch Coordinator to ensure new products launch smoothly
  • Work with A/P to reconcile invoices
  • Procurement for VIP rewards center - global
Do you have what it takes
  • BA Degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Concentration in business or retail management is a plus.
  • 1-2 years in a retail environment preferred or experience supporting a retail organization.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office products (primarily Excel, Word, Outlook and Team).
  • Some travel required. 1 International trip per year and some local/domestic travel to stores and/or conferences.
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills
  • Able to work from home in a professional environment if necessary
  • Some exposure to merchandising procedures and standards.
  • Experience of working in SAP preferred
