Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Remote Master's-Level Clinician in Outpatient Services at Behavioral Health Network!

Your experience, knowledge and great skills will support Outpatient Services with the following:

Outpatient Clinicians provide direct services to BHN clients across the lifespan via outcome-driven, evidence-based psychotherapy and social-emotional skills training and support. This position is for Remote-Only Clinicians. Clinical services delivered include comprehensive assessments, individual, couple, family, and group therapy, and coordination with other service providers as indicated. Outpatient Clinicians maintain their caseload, participate in clinical team meetings and supervision, formulate collaborative treatment plans, measure progress toward set outcomes, and coordinate treatment with a multidisciplinary team. Outpatient Clinicians may hold Fee-for-Service hourly positions (minimum average of 8-10 hrs/week,) with Full-Time salaried positions also available. Outpatient Clinicians receive excellent, consistent supervision toward independent licensure and opportunities for career development.

Who are we?

BHN's Outpatient Department provides high quality outpatient mental health and substance use disorder treatment to adults, children, couples and families. Many Clinicians are looking to work remotely these days, so we are developing a team of Remote-Only Clinicians. You'll generally only need to come in-person for specific reasons, such as some initial orientation trainings/ paperwork or to pick up initial computer equipment. We are delivering community mental health Outpatient services, without the worry about changing expectations for where we work from. Job Requirements:

What are we looking for in an Outpatient Clinician?

Bilingual/bicultural candidates encouraged to apply!

  • Candidate must reside within 50 miles of Springfield Ma.
  • Master's Degree or higher in Social Work, Clinical/Counseling Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy (required prior to start date).
  • Independent Licensure in Massachusetts OR License-Eligible (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or Psychologist) and working toward Independent Licensure (required).
  • Massachusetts CANS certification (required prior to start date).
  • Experience providing clinical services with children, adolescents, and/or adults (required).
  • Broad knowledge of mental health diagnoses and evidence-based treatment techniques (required).
  • Internship or professional experience in an Outpatient setting (preferred).
  • Internship or professional experience with providing clinical services via telehealth (required)
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR,) video conferencing software (telehealth or Zoom/other,) internet, word processing and email systems (preferred).
