What You Will Be Doing - Contribute to a core user experience and high-visibility area of our company with maintainable components, state services, and views written in React and TypeScript.
- Improve and influence the team's code style, consistency, readability, and performance through thoughtful code review and architecture and design-level guidance. Implement and lead best practices with an eye for accessibility and performant design.
- Mentor other engineers in the whole software development lifecycle: design, architecture, coding best practices, and more.
- Work with a team of engaged contributors, taking part in code reviews, architecture discussions, and design reviews as you work with software engineers from other teams, product managers, and designers.
- Consult with other teams across the organization on designing and building APIs and decoupled services.

Qualifications:

- 5+ years of software development experience shipping customer-facing products, ideally web applications with a SaaS model.
- An expert in writing well-tested code in React and Typescript with fully accessible functionality.
- Comfortable coding in an environment with frequent production releases and an iterative process.
- Able to break down a concept based on your audience, whether they're technical or non-technical, with strong verbal and written communication.
- A supportive and positive collaborator with motivation to help other engineers level up and get unstuck.


Nice-to-Haves:

Experience shipping green fieldwork directly to users or in a startup environment.
Experience working with designers and product managers to the scope and prioritize work while balancing competing needs.
BS in Computer Science, a related field, equivalent industry experience, or equivalent educational experience.
