SUMMARY:

The overall objective of the Reliability Program Consultant is to ensure safe and reliable operation of all global production facilities at the lowest life cycle cost and to drive the implementation of multiple reliability programs, initiatives, and methodologies.

The Reliability Program Consultant will be responsible for owning and monitoring critical reliability programs such as Water Treatment and Mechanical Integrity globally at Linde Plc.

Responsibilities:

  • Support regional operations/reliability organizations on water treatment program and fixed equipment reliability programs
  • Support operations as point of contact for optimizing supplier relationships, contract management & renewal, pricing negotiation, resolution of operational issues, etc. in the water treatment space
  • Work with local operations and Linde Engineering to identify and select correct equipment, chemicals and water treatment programs needed for current operations and new builds
  • Provide subject matter expertise to assist global regions in troubleshooting chemistry, biology, and corrosion concerns
  • Develop and assist in execution of water related sustainability, reliability, efficiency, and cost reduction productivity projects
  • Provide subject matter expertise to assist SHEQ, operations, and reliability in updating and implementing the Asset Integrity Management (AIM) standard for all facilities
  • Provide engineering support to regional Mechanical Integrity leads to manage and administer local programs in compliance with governmental regulations and Linde requirements for fixed equipment
  • Engage and work across company organizations (SHEQ, Operations, R&D, Procurement, Engineering, Finance) as required to identify and develop strategic solutions of long-term asset concerns (reliability threats).
  • Support reliability programs such as RAM, FMEA, RCA, PM Reviews, spare parts analysis, equipment analysis, and analysis of suppliers.


Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical or similar engineering with at least 10 years' experience in projects, reliability, or operations in an industrial environment
  • Experience with governmental regulations and requirements similar to Recognized And Generally Accepted Good Engineering Practices (RAGAGEP) and OSHA PSM
  • Understanding of maintenance & reliability methodologies and strategies such as maintenance management, Preventive Maintenance strategies, Condition Based Maintenance strategies, CMMS systems, etc.
  • Understanding of regulatory and industrial standards and codes related to Water Treatment or Mechanical Integrity
  • Working knowledge of operation, maintenance and reliability of water treatment systems and fixed equipment in an industrial environment.
  • Excellent communication, team interaction and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as lead/participate on cross functional teams.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% globally as necessary
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven leadership and experience in water treatment or mechanical integrity
  • Understands the multi-disciplinary aspects of corrosion & materials selection
  • Experience with industrial metallurgical coating systems and corrosion mitigation techniques including cathodic protection, insulation, coating systems as well as most engineering materials (metals & non-metals)
  • CMRP or CRE certification
