An American Company is seeking a Registered Nurse in Plainview, NY.

Role Description

• Train certified and non-certified aides during hiring/orientation program at our office.
• Review/grade Personal Care Exam
• Review Plan of Care with caregivers and orient them to client case
• Supervisory Visits of caregivers every 6 months or earlier if necessary
• Client Initial Nursing Assessment and reassessment every 6 months
• On call for emergencies to speak with aides, office staff, clients and/or family members
• Work closely with Owner and Client Care Coordinators on daily basis to staff cases accordingly
• Quality Review every quarter to be completed and held at office with Owner
• Complete Client Assessment: Devise plan of care, medication sheet, 485s, nursing assessment
• Organize and direct Comfort Keepers ongoing operations to assure the availability and provision of care and services.
• Implementing Governing body directives and organizational policy and procedures
• Comply with applicable laws and regulations pertaining to New York State
• Able to communicate effectively with all employees
• Private Duty Nursing if schedule allows as well
• New York State Registered Nursing License
• Masters in Healthcare Administration
• Certificate of Insurance (Occurrence Professional Liability Policy)
• Must have reliable automobile and auto insurance
• High moral standards, problem solving skills, professional phone skills, experience with handling customer concerns and strong desire to provide the highest quality service, ability to handle face paced challenging environment & pass all background checks
• Must be personable and have a genuine care in the interests of the elderly and caring for them
