This Assistant Professor position includes teaching undergraduate and graduate special education courses for the program and for other education programs in face-to-face, hybrid, online, and weekend formats, as well as liaising with schools and community organizations in the special education arena. Employees will be expected to work positively with faculty, staff, students, and the community, teach courses as assigned in keeping with University workload policy, have an active research/creative work agenda, and participate in university and community service. This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy.

Required Education and/or Experience: PhD, EdD, or ABD in Special Education or a related field;

Preferred Education and/or Experience: Special Education teaching experience in a K-12 setting; Research consistent with departmental focus and needs; College teaching experience.
