Position Summary

MAG Aerospace is seeking a full-time Python Software Developer to work in development of C5ISR Modeling and Simulation systems. The Python Software Developer will work at Ft. Belvoir, VA with the Army C5ISR Center's Night Vision and Electronic Sensors Directorate to support next generation facilities that enable the Warfighter to rapidly develop, deliver, and dominate in Multi-Domain Operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop software for an advanced modeling and simulation environment for C5ISR systems
• Support software development, software integration, customer training and demonstrations
• Demonstrate a knowledge of standard programming algorithms, design patterns, and object-oriented software design
• Evaluate and review code using Python
• Develop Parallel processes, threading, process communication
• Develop Web-based applications using development technology
• Collaborate with team members to design future enhancements

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
• Must have experience developing PYTHON software applications
• Must be able to understand and code using other object-oriented programming languages (i.e., C++ and Python)
• Must be able to understand and enhance/add new capability to existing software code
• Must be a US Citizen

• Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
  • 4 years of relevant experience can be substituted for degree

• Active Secret Clearance or eligibility
