Area of Accountability:

Assist department in research and supply chain management projects to help ensure that suppliers meet the company's requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor commodity markets to analyze material pricing trends, technology advancements and potentially new, cost-efficient alternatives

• Participate in assigned projects such as:
• Competitive Market studies on key components
• Commodity Research
• Assist in identifying options for mitigating risks in the supply chain
• Analyze and identify opportunities within the supply chain metrics
• Capacity studies
• Supplier Quality Analysis
• Logistics analysis
• Efficiency Improvement projects
• Other projects as assigned

• Assist in administrative functions such as:
  • Resolving invoice discrepancies for non-matching price or quantities
  • Processing Rejected Material Reports and debiting suppliers for rejected material
  • Analyzing Freight invoice data
  • Attend meetings, take and distribute notes as required
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Key Skills/Abilities

• Excellent PC skills, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Power BI
• Strong Communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability and desire to quickly learn new features/ software to generate value added data
• Good organizational skills
• Self-motivated to learn new things and make an impact for the department

Educational Requirements

• Currently pursuing Business degree, preferably with a Supply Chain/ Purchasing Focus
• Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0
