Job Summary:

A dynamic technology development team is seeking an experienced project coordinator to assist in project management & business performance monitoring. We have a fabulous team that does some of the most exciting work at Caterpillar, and we can't wait for you to join the team!!

What You Will Do:

• Tracking progress according to program schedules and goals.
• Monitoring the scheduling, budget, and performance of technical programs.

Education requirement:

Bachelor's degree or five years of equivalent experience in Project Management

What skills you will have:

Business Acumen:

• Works to understand the business priorities of internal and external clients.
• Understands business and budgeting tools and Microsoft Excel.

Project Management:

• Under supervision plans and estimates simple projects.
• Works with team members to develop detailed project plans including cost, schedule, and resource requirements.
• Gather information from project leaders during the planning stage of a project.
• Publishes project status reports as needed.

Effective Communication:

• Interacts with team members to collect project detail information.
• Applies team members feedback to improve communication and grow relationships.
• Presents reports in written or oral form as needed.

Additional Information:

The location for this position is Mossville, IL

Domestic relocation assistance is NOT available for this position.

This position will require less than 10% travel.
