The Program Director of Revenue Cycle Management provides strategic direction and oversight of various back-end revenue cycle functions to ensure a consistently world-class business office. This includes insurance and self-pay billing, customer service, claims processing, and denials management. This position provides direction to a team to provide education, auditing, monitoring and support of various revenue functions. The role also includes performing reporting and analysis of revenue related data and supports process improvement. This position provides expertise as it relates to billing and patient financial processes, while ensuring compliance with organizational, federal, state & third-party requirements. The position requires knowledge of Epic and how to best utilize the functionality and features to drive the organization's billing office forward.
REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business or healthcare; Master's preferred

Minimum ten years of experience in healthcare, revenue cycle operations or related field. This can be substituted for a minimum five years of working for Epic and/or a top tier consulting firm.

Minimum five to seven years of progressive management experience, which can include leading and building a team or management of a team.
Required Licensure Certification, etc. -
HFMA Certifications preferred

1+ active Epic Proficiencies or Certifications, specifically in Revenue Cycle applications.
