Job Description Summary

Formed Product Operator: Under the supervision and direction of the Production Supervisor and/or Process Operator, this positionis responsible foroperation and control of formedproduct equipment, including starting up and shutting down of all line equipment.

Job Description

• Responsible for setting up the equipment and support functions for the formed product lines.
  
• Monitorthe operation of the equipment and make changes as required under the direction of the Production Supervisor and Process Operator.
  

• Responsible forassuringacceptable product quality levels areattainedand maintained.
  
• Duringthedowntimeperiod they will set up,monitorand operate all said equipmentin accordance withestablished cleaning procedures.
  

• Maintains safe work practices at all timesandparticipatesin safety programs.
  

• Responsible for the operation and control of patty line and co-product line equipmentin accordance withestablished procedures.
  
• Perform all sanitation dutiesas prescribed bycompany procedures and standards, including mid-shift clean up schedule and thorough knowledge of chemicals used.Disassemble,cleanand reassemble shredder and forming equipment on formed product lines during clean-up periods.
  
• Maintaining on an hourly and dailybasis,legiblerecords of his/her line performance including F.F.A.'s, SAPP content,downtime(operational and mechanical).
  
• Monitor and/or control potato flow and quantity.
  
• Sanitationof area and weekend cleanups
  
• Performs other jobs or duties as assigned by Production Supervisor.

• The noise level in the work environment can exceed 85dB.
  
• Willregularly worknear moving mechanical parts.
  
• Willfrequentlybe exposed to humid conditions as well as moderate heat.
  
• May occasionally work around fumes or airborne particles, chemicals, and vibration.
  
• May be lifting heavy objects up to 50lbs or less. Team Lift is required for any object requiring a lift 50lbs and above.
  

Basic & Preferred Qualifications

Education

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.

Language Skills

• Musthavegood communicationskillsoral and written.

• 
  Effectively communicate in English verbally and in writing.Ability to understand instructions and follow directions in English.
