Description: Our client is currently seeking a Product Operations IV

Project Overview: (Share 2-3 sentences about the BUSINESS)

  • Seeking a seasoned qualitative researcher/consultant to surface market needs across the payer, provider, and life science segments, understand buyer perspectives, and generate actionable insights for how can build offerings with strong product-market fit.
  • This leader will serve as the voice of potential customers and identify buyers' unsolved problems, emerging market trends, competitor performance, and pressure-test potential product features and concepts.
  • You will also build and refine market sizing analyses (TAM, SAM, SOM).
Overall Responsibilities: (Share 2-3 sentences about the POSITION)
  • Help increase product-market fit by proactively identifying gaps in buyer insights- and planning, executing, and delivering research to fill these gaps.
  • Serve as the voice of prospective customers (across payers, life science, and provider segments) by managing the budget for buyer insights, personally executing many of the most business-critical buyer-insight projects, and setting the standard for designing reports that enable data-driven business decisions.
  • Develop a format and cadence to effectively communicate buyer insights. This includes proactively identifying where buyer insights are needed- and maintaining an easy to access collection of recent insights.

  • Design, conduct, and report-out findings from blinded qualitative interviews with healthcare executives.
  • Conduct desk research on competitors and compile findings into concise, actionable reports for internal stakeholders.
  • Track and manage use of internal market research tools and resources.
Mandatory Skills/Qualifications: (All skills, both technical and soft, required to be successful in the role)
  • Bachelor's degree with 4+ years as a strategy consultant and/or designing and conducting qualitative interviews with executives.
  • 4+ years experience in the healthcare industry (as either a direct participant, consultant, or researcher).
  • Experience independently designing and creating insights-driven reports to be shared with executive team members.
Non-Essential Skills/Qualifications: (Skills that would be nice to have but are not essential in the role)
  • A strong desire to own the entire end-to-end research and insights process- from budget to brief to interviews to report writing.
  • Roll-up-your-sleeves attitude with an ability to navigate an evolving and fast-paced environment, influence at all levels and work effectively across functions and geographies.
  • Strong executive presence and comfort working with executive stakeholders to gather inputs, develop a point-of-view and action plan, secure cross-functional buy-in and drive execution
