About the role

The Product Marketing Manager, for our Acoustics product line, is responsible for the product management related activities and execution for the marketing strategy and tactics for products in the assigned product portfolio. This role is responsible for managing portions of the Osia System Portfolio, additional Acoustic product management and marketing initiatives as needed, and continued overall portfolio optimization in a changing market landscape. This role's key professional marketing audience will be audiologists, both performing and referring. Responsibilities include deep knowledge of market and customer segments, market analysis, translating regional customer needs to inform global product requirement specifications, inform strategic planning initiatives, work closely with global product management and regional stakeholders (sales, finance, operations) to execute on regional product launch, conduct commercial post market surveillance and initiate/manage/inform marketing campaigns. The Product Manager will also be responsible for implementing commercial introduction and sustaining strategy, prioritizing product and customer requirements, pricing, and working closely with key stakeholders including global marketing, regional sales, recipient services to ensure regional revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met throughout the product lifecycle.

This position is located in Denver, Colorado.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implements commercial introduction sustaining and optimization strategy, and product discontinuances, prioritizing product and customer requirements.
  • Partners with Global Marketing to plan, manage, and execute regional product launches, including informing and developing regional product requirement specification, pricing strategy, promotional messaging, campaigns and marketing deliverables for the Americas Region, ensuring appropriate positioning and messaging by channel and customer.
  • Leads the management of a cross functional launch teams including representatives from Sales, Marketing, Recipient Services, Reimbursement Services, Clinical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Customer Service, Supply Chain, and Quality Assurance.
  • Develops and manages communication to the field and customers including product announcements, communication related to product issues and product FAQs.
  • Creates and trains field staff on product solutions, promotional field plays and messaging guides, and co-develop external training content.
  • Establish and maintain active understanding of the competition including product offerings, specifications, pricing, commercial strategies, sales channels, key relationships, and business models. Collects and consolidates competitive intelligence to inform annual strategic planning process and inform global colleagues and regional field of relevant tactics and positioning to influence sales approach on an ongoing basis.
  • Conducts voice of customer (VOC), brand awareness, message testing, market sizing, and other market research.
  • Gathers and synthesizes market research insights acquired via partnering with global groups or professionals within the CAM market to inform product development, strategic planning, and promotional tactics.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree Required.
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Experience in marketing, product management or product service role. Experience in medical device or health information technology within hearing health field is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills with experience in various software packages, including Microsoft Suite and web-based programs
  • Ability to manage and adapt to competing priorities and manage time and schedules in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize current workload and projects for team and self
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills including the ability to communicate and present to Senior levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with employees across all levels of the organization and in a variety of settings: one-on one, small and large groups, and among diverse styles
  • Provides timely and helpful information to team and cross-functional business partners across the organization
  • Ability to ensure clarity of expectations for individuals and team and hold team members accountable for expectations.
  • Demonstrated follow through on commitments and ability to act with a clear sense of ownership
  • Ability to uncover root causes for potential issues, propose solutions, predict potential barriers, and encourage team members to do the same
  • Inspires self and team to tackle problems and challenge the status quo to deliver creative solutions
  • Strong ability to interact effectively and proactively with all levels of the organization to develop positive, professional relationships across the business that are based on trust and open communication
  • Create an environment of trust with business partners and demonstrate resilience when experiencing setbacks
  • Ability to travel (up to 30%) including nights and weekends.

  • Target Salary Range/Rate: $107,000 - 115,000 based upon experience, as well as an annual bonus opportunity of 15% of base salary.
