Our nonprofit education management company is seeking a Product Manager to join our team! Our company reshapes what is possible in public education, and we are known for delivering education to students from all backgrounds. As one of the fastest growing and largest charter school networks, we pride ourselves on excellence and outperforming other schools in every district of NY.
This position will be onsite 3x per week in the Financial District, and 2x per week remote.
What You Will Be Doing Oversee and execute every step of the software development lifecycle from conceptualization to maintenance using an Agile methodology
Develop and maintain the product roadmap and backlog for multiple applications, including new feature collection, improvements to existing products, and technical debt prioritization
Every year, we gather digital records from families and students through our internal portal. These forms are then managed by staff in our portal. The Product Manager is responsible for managing these portals and collaborating with stakeholders to develop new features based on feedback from staff and families.
What You Need for this Position Experience working on a team that utilizes modern technologies and languages, such as AWS, python, etc.
4+ years as a product owner, associate product manager, software developer, or relevant experience
Proficiency with Confluence and Jira, or similar product/project management software
