The Product Analyst l, will be based in our company headquarters in Winston-Salem, N.C. This role is a key contributor in delivering the Hanes Full Potential plan for the Hanes Apparel business. The deliverables for this role will focus on collaboration with cross functional teams to plan and execute merchandise assortments while placing the consumer at the forefront of every decision.

Responsibilities

  • Offering strategic analysis
    • As directed, conduct ad hoc competitor analysis/ data gathering (e.g., in-store benchmarking of competitor shelf space, price points)
    • Work with junior sales teams to gather data in support of offering strategy decision-making
  • Sell to the customer
    • Support merchandise and samples for sales meetings and photo shoots
    • Create sell-in sheets for customers, as directed
    • Mail samples out to customers
  • Sell to the consumer
    • Support analysis of consumer needs, preferences, and shopping behaviors
    • Coordinate project workflow for PDP content (imagery + copywriting) for our internal and external websites
    • Coordinate product samplings for review seeding
    • Work with sales team to set up new items
  • Analyze business results
    • Leverage analytic tools to report business results, optimize inventory and identify sales opportunities.

Qualifications
  • Minimum Education/ Experience:Bachelor's degree with 1+ years work experience; 4+ years of equivalent work experience can be substituted for Bachelor's degree
  • 1+ year of analytics, merchandise planning, marketing, or project management.
  • Strong excel and analytical skills
  • Basic Photoshop and Illustrator skills preferred
  • Ability to work autonomously and ensure projects are completed on time.
  • Experience and focus on merchandising as a consumer advocate.
  • Experience in collaborating and partnering cross-functionally to drive the business.
  • Influence decision makers to move to execution using both quantitative and qualitative research.
  • Problem solving, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Experience working on multiple projects and priorities
  • Experience in leveraging consumer data to drive sales growth
