Job Summary

Facilitates, participates and assists with all plant engineering support functions including safety, regulatory compliance, asset management, continuous improvement, remediation and audit readiness throughout all Warsaw facilities. Reviews, contributes and plans work utilizing computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for all plant engineering assets. The candidate must have a thorough understanding of utilities operations, clean room operations, maintenance, quality, regulatory compliance and validation disciplines for all types of building infrastructure and utilities.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Participates in department activities to ensure compliance to 21 CFR 820.70(g) Equipment Controls
  • Leads the process for the procurement and delivery of parts, tools, resources, and supplies for the department.
  • Assists in defining and developing strategic partnerships for building services and contractors
  • Monitors budgets, invoices, and receipts for accuracy and timely payment
  • Contributes to tracking, documenting, and implementing cost savings activities Prepares trending reports and process monitoring requirements for HEPA filtration systems
  • Maintains and tracks department preventive maintenance records to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Maintains a process for data storage and retrieval of state regulatory agencies documents
  • Track and schedule permit renewals for building infrastructure and utilities
  • Prepares reports for monthly, quarterly, and annual business needs based on trend analysis, specifically related to organizational KPIs Initiates change management request for proper change control of validated manufacturing and building systems.
Expected Areas of Competence
  • Proficient in computer applications including Microsoft Excel, Power Point, and Word Experience with a computerized maintenance management software (SAP preferred) Knowledge and experience working in a FDA regulated industry
  • Proficient with the financial aspects of invoicing and budgets
  • Ability to coordinate work with contractors and technicians, with timely and thorough follow up.
  • Ability to adjust priorities based on business needs.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Excellent people skills with the ability to positively interact and communicate with personnel from various backgrounds, position titles and manufacturing experience.
  • Must be willing to travel to all Warsaw facilities as needed
Education/Experience Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial or facility maintenance position (e.g. utilities coordinator, maintenance technician, maintenance planner…) that included frequent interaction with computerized maintenance management systems and computer applications or combination of education and experience.

High School diploma required.

Associates degree preferred.

Travel Requirements

Up to 5%, local travel
