Our team is looking for fast-moving engineers with an entrepreneurial mindset. As a Meta Partner Engineer Intern, you will grow industries by identifying new features, products, and business opportunities and enable partner businesses to realize the full potential of those opportunities. You will write scalable production-grade code across Meta's platforms in collaboration with other product engineering teams. This role will allow you to execute on solving real-world business challenges through Meta's platforms and community. Meta's Partner Engineering team is composed of creative problem solvers and strategic software engineers who collaborate with clients and partners to understand their challenges and architect solutions. We are at the cross section of business and engineering helping Meta's clients and partners succeed and reach their business goals with Meta products (including, but not limited to Metaverse, Reality Labs, Gaming, AI), by finding technology solutions to meet their needs. We are passionate about working closely with our external clients and partners across many industries - travel, retail, e-commerce, media, gaming, financial services, automotive, entertainment and beyond.

<ul><li>Build new products and improve existing ones in collaboration with Meta product engineering teams to meet business needs</li><li>Actively seek out and apply knowledge of products, technologies and business to build solutions to solve for problems at scale</li><li>Independently break down coding projects into tasks and partner with all applicable teams and partners to meet pre-established goals</li><li>Ship and launch production-level code in manageable pieces, with relevant descriptions, test plans, documentation, and unit integration tests</li><li>Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback while quickly actioning feedback from code reviews of your code</li><li>Maintain relationships with partner teams and clients (internal and external) and present technical opportunities in a consulting capacity</li></ul>

<ul><li>Experience communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences</li><li>Experience coding in an industry-standard language (e.g. Java, Python, C++, JavaScript)</li><li>Currently is in the process of obtaining B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent program</li><li>Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment</li></ul>

<ul><li>Intent to return to degree-program after the completion of the internship/co-op</li><li>Experience contributing to open source projects, shared code repositories, and/or personal projects</li><li>Experience with contributing to the development community (blogs, Stack Overflow, Quora, slack, etc.)</li></ul>
