Basic Job Functions:
The role of the Traffic Service Representative (TSR) includes but is not limited to being responsible for the coordination and direct management of truck shipments for Nucor Steel Berkeley. This position will be focused on securing trucks to ship beam and coil tons to our customers. A focus on customer service and cost will be essential in this role. This position will be required to cross train and fill in for the other roles within the traffic office. This position requires working scheduled and unscheduled overtime including weekends and holidays as business conditions warrant.Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
