Basic Job Functions:

Responsibilities of the Network Administrator may include but are not limited to:

The Network Administrator works with the IT Department and Maintenance teams to maintain and optimize the Nucor business network throughout the plant. This role requires a comprehensive knowledge of networking concepts as well as networking security protocols and procedures. The successful candidate will maintain equipment and infrastructure in support of a 24/7 manufacturing operation.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 4 yr degree in Information Technology or a related field
• 3-5 years of networking experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years experience working with Cisco Switches
• 1 year experience working with network cameras
• 1 year experience working with copper and/or fiber
• Related Certifications
• Past experience in Industrial Environment
