About the Position
We are currently seeking an experienced Corrosion Technician to join our growing Energy team. The ideal candidate possesses 3-6 years of related experience and wants to grow, collaborate, and innovate. In this position, the successful candidate will perform indirect surveys, annual surveys, and CP troubleshooting for clients across the United States. The successful candidate will also be NACE CP-1 or CP-2 certified. Projects will span across multiple markets and geographies affording opportunities for broadening knowledge and deepening skill sets related to design projects. We are seeking someone who can be an independent self-starter.
Experience and Qualifications
- NACE CP-1 or CP-2 Certified
- 3-6 years of related experience
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to travel 75% of the year, mostly within the U.S.
- Proficiency in performing indirect surveys and annual surveys
- Ability to handle field survey equipment
- Ability to install/troubleshoot cathodic protection systems and make minor repairs
- Ability to work well within a team environment, positive attitude, multi-task, and self-motivated to produce high quality work
- Ability and desire to learn and grow professionally

Additional Information
Many factors are considered when determining compensation at Pond, including scope and level of position, geographic location, candidate skill, knowledge and experience. Starting base pay may vary depending on these factors. We anticipate filling this position as a Corrosion Technician II with a salary range of $22.12 - $47.31 .
