Linde Inc., a leading supplier of industrial gases is currently seeking a talented professional to be our Billing Analyst Reporting to the Merchant Team Lead, this position is responsible for daily transactional management of an assigned portfolio.

Primary duties will include the following:

  • Administering invoices in accordance with legal contracts and managing price changes with escalations as required
  • Proactively communicate with Sales and Customers and provide solutions to problems or requests with a sense of urgency
  • Calculating, preparing, and issuing invoices with backup extracted from legal contracts
  • Planning and establishing work priorities and processes, ensuring deadlines are met and procedures are being followed
  • Initiating and completing dispute resolution for assigned customers
  • Assisting internal customers in all related areas with contract queries
  • Assembling data and preparing periodic and special reports
  • Make recommendations for new and improved procedures
  • Be willing to assume additional work within the scope of departmental responsibilities
  • Be available to work extended hours as needed especially at month end
  • Must meet all deadlines


QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field with basic accounting skills and/or several years of administration experience
  • Experience with reading and understanding legal contract language
  • Extremely detailed oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Strong computer aptitude including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Database concepts
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • Self-motivated with ability to independently prioritize multiple tasks
  • Must be able to work extended hours at month end and adhere to deadlines
  • Experience with JD Edwards required
