- Generate and submit accurate medical claims to insurance companies and government agencies.
- Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility.
- Review and interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOB) statements.
- Resolve billing discrepancies and denials in a timely manner.
- Follow up on unpaid claims and pursue reimbursement.
- Analyze aging reports to identify overdue accounts and outstanding balances.
- Contact patients, insurance companies, and other parties to follow up on unpaid invoices.
- Negotiate payment plans and settlements with patients and insurance providers.
- Document all communications and actions taken regarding aging accounts.
- Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and billing guidelines.
- Stay updated on changes in insurance policies, codes, and procedures.
- Prepare and submit appeals for denied claims as needed.
- Collaborate with insurance representatives to resolve claim issues.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient billing records.
- Enter charges, payments, and adjustments into the billing system.
- Perform regular audits to ensure data integrity and billing accuracy

Monday- Friday 7:30am-4pm or 8am-4:30pm
Pay: $21-26/hr. + benefits
100% onsite, Bloomington
