Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of obstetrics & gynecology and maternal fetal medicine with a focus on prenatal diagnosis and fetal therapy. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. They must also be certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology or hold equivalent certification.
Teaching responsibilities may include clinical and didactic education of medical students, residents and fellows.
Clinical responsibilities may include activities centering on prenatal diagnosis and counseling, fetal surgical interventions and the management and delivery of pregnancies complicated by congenital anomalies.
This position will be housed in the Center for Fetal Diagnosis and Treatment, administered by the Department of Surgery at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. We are recognized as a world class fetal diagnosis & treatment center and a pioneer in the development of new fetal and therapeutic procedures.
