Ultimate Staffing is looking for a Receiving, Logistics Associate to support a medical device client in Sunnyvale, CA. This is an onsite role, with a target pay range of $25-31/hour and offers the opportunity to join a great team and organization.

This position executes activities related to distribution of materials and products, in accordance with quality system procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Distributes goods in accordance with approved distribution/ inventory management procedures to its proper designated location or recipient. If a discrepancy arises work with the purchaser to resolve the issue prior to distribution.
  • Ensures all goods are properly located and maintained in accordance with storage procedures maintained in accordance with storage procedures.
  • Process all outbound shipments with keen accuracy.
  • Supports inventory management activities; routine cycle counts, inventory movement, and provide recommendations for low supply levels.
  • Provides backup to the materials department for receiving activities for inbound goods.
  • Works with Customer Success to resolve any discrepancies for a given shipment.
  • Assists in working with freight carriers to ensure on-time trackability and cost effectiveness for all inbound and outbound shipments. Â
  • Identifies safety hazards on a regular basis for all inbound shipments. (e.g., RMA’s)
  • Maintains accurate records/documentation related to quality system and labor. (e.g., timecards)
  • Maintains the warehouse in a clean and organized manner. In addition, maintains safety standards and follow all regulations while working in the warehouse.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of related experience
  • Prior medical device experience preferred
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, & Outlook).
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to meet multiple and occasional competing deadlines while maintaining a cooperative working relationship with other employees and Manager.
  • Must be highly organized and able to execute tasks in a timely manner.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work overtime.
