Marketing Intern - Summer 2024

Hendrickson is searching for a Marketing intern for the Summer of 2024 at their Woodridge Technical Center.

This individual will:

• Work to collect data to help increase information dissemination and selling points to sales staff
• Create and update sales training modules and order reference guides
• Create and update customer training guides
• Generate scripts and monitor social media
• Data analysis and report generation as required
• Manage the Marketing Databases. Source and review secondary research including utilization of on-line services. Organize information and incorporate into database.
• Participate in project and team management activities.
• Promote appropriate product communications both internally and with the Field Sales organization
• Provide support and assistance for any other function deemed necessary for the organization and customer assigned by the supervisor
• Other duties as assigned

To be considered for this opening, students must be/have:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program preferably majoring in Marketing or related field of study and be in good standing with their University/College.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0
• Self-motivated with good organization and planning skills.
• Must have good people skills and be able to develop good internal and external working relationships.
• Strong skill requirements include organization, follow up, and written / verbal communication.
• Superior PC skills; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Office
• Professionalism and integrity to work with employees from all levels of the organization, and to handle highly confidential information.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time.
• Sound judgment in decision making and establishing priorities.
• Proactive and oriented to make improvements in systems and procedures.
