Job Discipline Description

  • As a Technical Consultant Manager, you will be responsible for the implementation and ongoing support for the LexisNexis® Risk Solutions ThreatMetrix® products. The role will involve helping customer's design and implement the LexisNexis® Risk Solutions products into their risk decisioning platforms and helping them exploit the huge breadth of intelligence the LexisNexis® Risk Solutions products can deliver. You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery and management of each project and will manage customer relationships, provide technical expertise, assist customers with their solutions design as well as have the opportunity to build creative rule-sets in order to help our customers identify a variety of Online Threats and Identity Fraud.

    You will also be asked to provide technical expertise to sales staff through sales presentations and product demonstrations. The ideal candidate will have experience of web technologies (APIs, Web Programming Languages such as JavaScript and SOAP etc), mobile technologies (iOS, Android, React Native, Java, Objective -C, Kotlin) and will have had some experience in the fraud space (although not essential).

  • As a Technical Consultant Manager for LexisNexis® Risk Solutions, soft skills will be essential, you will be asked to present to Senior Stakeholders, Technical Development teams and you should be confident in both your presentation and consulting skills. The role will introduce you to a broad and exciting set of customers and industries ranging from Banking and Cryptofinance to Gaming and Streaming sites - each of whom with their own unique set of fraud challenges ensuring no two projects are ever the same.

    Responsibilities
  • Be creative in building solutions which allow our customers to best use the extensive features of the ThreatMetrix® Product set
  • Creates client deliverables such as presentations, build, deployment guides and task lists
  • Builds and deploy web solutions in line with design specifications and manage the project end to end using Java, JavaScript, Ruby
  • Understands and document the technical requirements and implementation specifications for clients. Leads follow-up on requests, resolve technical support issues and communicates solutions directly with client technical teams. Develops recommendations and formally documents implementation recommendations via service delivery plan and presents to client and account team.
  • Serves as a technical resource and partner to the sales team during the sales process. Serves as a trusted advisor to the client in implementation and process decisions.
  • Develops and adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges; receives minimal guidance from manager Manages generally homogeneous team(s); adapts plans and sets priorities to meet service and/or operational challenges
  • Understands how own area contributes to the achievement of objectives and has understanding of industry best practice Leadership

  • Develop and distribute mobile solutions in line with design specifications and manage the project end to end using Objective-C, Java, Swift, Kotlin for iOS, Android, Windows Phone and MacOS
  • Creates and configures Fraud Detection Rule-Sets for customers
  • Deliver knowledge transfer sessions to customers and other team members
  • Develop API test automation using Parasoft SOA Test, POSTMAN, REST API Client and SOAPUI.

  • Ideal Candidates:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience; Preferred - Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Electrical and Electronics, Engineering or related discipline.
  • Relishes the opportunity to work as a consultant to both large and small firms; working to help build an industry leading fraud detection platform with both development and business teams
  • Excellent communication skills with prospects and customers.
  • Has responsibility for budget and resource planning
  • History of working with highly technical internal and external teams, then translating requirements and discoveries to non-technical decision makers
  • Confident in designing solutions across server side applications (API, Web Based Technologies etc.,) and mobile applications
  • Identifies and resolves moderately complex business problems based on the analysis of information
  • Travel may be required
  • Subject matter expertise in industry/product space is ideal. Preferred - experience in Identity Management, Digital Identity or Fraud Detection
