OVERVIEW
The Manager, IT Asset Services develops, leads, and motivates Sun's IT Asset Services team, ensuring the organization has the hardware and software assets necessary to operate effectively. They deliver excellent support with outstanding customer service, satisfaction, and urgency. The Manager, IT Asset Services oversees processes to deliver and reclaim hardware and software across Sun Communities locations. This includes existing locations, ground-ups, expansions, acquisitions, and dispositions. They develop and maintain effective relationships with 3rd party vendors, negotiate agreements, monitor and confirm adherence to established SLA's, and remediate risks and issues that may arise.

JOB DUTIES

  • Oversees the IT Asset Management team to provide direction, attain objectives and maintain high stakeholder service and satisfaction levels.
  • Develops and maintains standards for IT hardware and software delivery.
  • Ensures the organization has the IT hardware and software required to operate effectively.
  • Participates in the development and maintenance of the annual operating and capital expenditure budgets for IT hardware and software. Monitors and controls IT expenditures to achieve budgetary objectives.
  • Coordinates team member selection and development and ensures team members comply with appropriate policies and procedures.
  • Adheres to Suns Timekeeping Policy by reviewing, verifying accuracy, approving and submitting direct report(s) time recorded.
  • Partners with Team Relations on team member counseling and recommendation of termination when appropriate.
  • Conducts team member performance reviews and recommends compensation adjustments.
  • Monitors 3rd party performance in the delivery of IT hardware and software and remediates non-compliance with established SLAs.
  • Serves as the main IT point of contact for acquisitions and dispositions.
  • Establishes flexible processes and provides ongoing training to the IT Asset Management team to ensure the delivery of efficient, effective, and timely services.
  • Other duties as assigned.


REQUIREMENTS
  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field (Required)
  • 5 years help desk experience
  • 5 years managing and delivering on support and service SLAs
  • 5 years delivering hardware and software to end users
  • 2 years leadership experience
  • Detailed knowledge of the IT asset management lifecycle and process design
  • Detailed knowledge of the benefits of CapEx and OpEx budgets
  • Ability to coordinate and communicate with all levels of the organization, including stakeholders, vendors, suppliers, senior managers, and executives
  • Ability to respond to business needs after normal business hours.
  • Ability to travel by car or plane with overnight stays as required
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Advanced computer proficiency
