General Summary:

The Manager, Diversity and Inclusion plays a key role in the execution and advancement of HCA's commitment to Diversity and Inclusion. This role will manage, implement, and support D&I initiatives by collaborating and influencing business leaders and team members on D&I efforts.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and provide support to Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) in the areas of process, governance, KPIs, budget, annual planning, quarterly reporting, membership, and activations.

2. Partner with Corporate Communications team to develop and implement communication strategies and content management for training, campaigns, and web resources (internal and external audiences) to support D&I initiatives on various platforms.

3. Facilitate courses for multi-level audiences, covering D&I topics like inclusive leadership, unconscious bias, addressing microaggressions, etc.

4. Drive and report diversity analytics, including benchmarking, tracking KPIs, analyzing and generating diversity reporting to highlight trends and impact

5. Stay abreast of D&I best practices and resources.

6. Partner with leadership, the D&I Council, ERG Leads, and others as needed, in support of key business needs, goals, and objectives to advance D&I efforts.

7. Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Knowledge and Skills:

• 5+ years' experience developing and/or managing Diversity and Inclusion initiatives and/or programs.

• Experience in designing, managing and successfully implementing Diversity and Inclusion strategies and programs.

• Proven record of facilitating complex, dynamic, and interactive content while adapting approach and style to a variety of audiences and learning preferences.

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to articulate vision and direction, communicate effectively, manage and measure performance and accountability.

• Ability to work across levels and functions to build relationships with key stakeholders and champions.

• Demonstrated ability to articulate vision and direction, communicate effectively, manage and measure performance and accountability.

• Proven record of accomplishment consulting to business leaders and implementing high impact team effectiveness and capability building solutions.

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical, project management and reporting skills.

• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

• Forward thinking with the ability to work well under pressure and organize/articulate complex information.

Physical Requirements and Working Condition:

Employees in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing and walking, vision to monitor and moderate noise levels. Work is performed in an office environment.
