What You Will Be Doing Responsible for creating a safe work environment for the employees and maintaining the reliability of the Elverson, PA plant equipment and facilities through systemic preventative and corrective maintenance.
What You Need for this Position Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment to support operations. Provide manufacturing and facilities support to troubleshoot or perform necessary repairs to maintain the operation of equipment
- Provides daily oversight and direction of maintenance team members; including personnel scheduling, prioritizing daily work assignments, conducting safety trainings, along with the handling and resolution of employee issues.
- Manages CMMS system (eMaint), preventative maintenance program and tracks work orders through completion.
- Responsible for safe operation of equipment; directly accountable for personnel safety, quality, routine schedule execution, and managing issues relating to other departments.
- Provides, maintains and promotes a work environment free from accidents and ensures the safety and well-being of associates and the community through effective training, housekeeping, 5S programs, and compliance with applicable corporate policies and government regulations.
- Participate and provide leadership with the use of root cause methodologies and development of corrective actions to improve manufacturing reliability and product consistency.
- Works with outsides contractors and vendors to schedule service and repair of production and facilities equipment.
- Maintain an image for the plant, both internally and externally, of a dynamic, progressive, professionally managed and ethical global organization and business.

Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelors Degree preferred with 2+ years' supervisor or management experience in a manufacturing environment or 5+ years supervisor or management experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC, boilers and wire 480V electrical service to equipment or equivalent to current code. PLC knowledge is desirable.
- Experience with mixing, milling and extrusion operations.
- Lean Six/Sigma Green/Black Belt strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent interpersonal skills, including good oral and written communication skills, and previous experience using computers
