Multiple shifts available for this role

1st - Mon-Thurs - 6:00am-4:30pm

3rd - Mon-Thurs - 7:30pm-6:00am

Job Purpose:

Perform complex set-ups and operate a variety of machines which may include but not be limited to CNC operations.

Essential Job Functions:

• Operate assigned machines with maximum efficiency.
• Prove quality, safety and housekeeping standards.
• Responsible for set-up and quality.
• Prove capability to plan workload to fully utilize machines.
• Cross-train to operate machines in three work cells.
• Short-run production machining experience.
• Monitor tool wear for more efficient conservation. Perform complex machine set-ups.
• Programming experience beneficial.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills Needed:

Required

• Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read blueprints
• 1-3 years of experience in a machine shop environment
• Working knowledge of metal working
• Knowledge and use of inspection equipment (Vernier, calipers, gauges, protractors and tape measure)

Preferred

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Technical/trade school in metal fabrication
• 3 - 5 years of experience in a production environment
• Basic CNC program editing experience

Working Conditions:

Must be able to lift 35 lbs and occasionally lift 50 lbs. Will also involve repetitive motion. Work area can be noisy.
