Job Description Summary

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for daily planning and execution of the transportation and logistics function to deliver cost effective and value added services to internal and external customers, in support of our vision of being the industry leader and enhancing the overall "Customer Experience".

Key Responsibilities

  • Use ERP software to set weekly production schedule taking into consideration type of order, demand feed, and production capacity
  • Collaborate with sales, supply chain and production operations to schedule and prioritize daily customer shipments
  • Proactively work to ensure on-time order delivery by reviewing open customer orders and planning for items needed to meet daily and weekly shipments
  • Print pick tickets for in stock items, create work orders for secondary manufacturing or transfer orders for inventory transfers
  • Coordinates with Procurement resale accessory inventory to appropriate stocking levels for upcoming shipments
  • Ensures accuracy and completeness of shipping information, product counts and item specifications
  • Attend daily shipping meeting withthe leadership team
  • Attend daily production meetings
  • Implement docs and flow with the distribution team
  • Ensure all shipping docs are in order for the end of day invoicing
  • Manages site inventory accuracy and organization
  • Maintains accurate inventory records: work orders, purchase orders and sales orders
  • Maintains accurate MTD, YTD shipping, money, records and reports to management
  • Assign shipping carriers to cover outbound shipments
  • Daily interaction with the production team to ensure on time shipments
  • Communicates with customer service responding to shipping questions and correcting order entry issues
  • Performs additional duties as directed

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of logistics or customer service experience
  • Production planning experience, desired
  • Experience with MS Office Software, TMs Systems, and Inventory scanners
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Compensation

  • The hourly pay rate is $21-$27/hr.
