Overview

Primarily responsible for extracting, understanding, analyzing and maintaining data relating to international shipments and processes from internal sources (including but not limited to QSC's ERP system - Oracle, Purchasing, Finance sources) and external sources (Broker reports, Carrier reports, etc.)

The Logistics Analyst will work and maintain good communication to ensure procedures operate within the framework of organizational goals and objectives.

Base Pay Range 54,000 - 79,000

The above reflects the pay range that QSC reasonably expects to pay for this role. This pay range also depends on various factors such as job duties and requirements, relevant experience and skills and geographic location. In addition to the base salary range, QSC offers a comprehensive package including but not limited to health benefits, 401K or Roth retirement plans, generous time off and profit sharing.

Responsibilities

  • Extracting, understanding, analyzing and maintaining data maintenance relating to international shipments and processes from internal sources (including but not limited to QSC's ERP system - Oracle, Purchasing, Finance sources) and external sources (Broker reports, Carrier reports, etc.)
  • Maintaining the information in logistic databases.
  • Create recordkeeping packages for import and export transactions and verify if documentation adheres to import-export policies and laws.
  • Retrieving commercial documentation and reports from internal sources and from brokers.
  • Work closely with Procurement to determine correct allocation of supplemental payments and assists.
Qualifications
  • Any of the following certifications are preferred, but not required: Dangerous Goods Certification, CCS (Certified Customs Specialist), CES (Customs Export Specialist), Lean Six-Sigma, LCB (Licensed Customs Broker).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in data analytics.
  • Proficiency in computer databases
  • Experience in data mining, analysis and reporting
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Power BI), relational databases and ERP systems (e.g. Oracle)
  • Familiarity with logistic processes (import/export) preferred
  • Knowledge of the US Government Import and Export Rules and Regulations preferred.
  • Team player with effective written and verbal communication skills, strong focus on customer service and ability to demonstrate a solutions-driven approach.
  • Strong analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
  • Strong attention to detail
