Job Title: Litigation Secretary

Job Description: Labor and Employment firm in Santa Monica seeks an experienced Litigation Secretary to join their team. The ideal Litigation Secretary possesses 7-10+ years of experience and has strong knowledge of efiling on state and federal level, calendaring deadlines, supporting 4+ Partner-level Associates, and mastery of Microsoft Office.

Litigation Secretary Job Duties:

- Draft and revise pleadings, correspondence, memoranda, court forms

- Efile documents on state and federal level as well as utilizing messenger services

- Generate Table of Contents and Table of Authorities (TOCs/TOAs)

- Assist attorneys with arranging/preparing depositions

- Communicate with clients, courts, and attorneys on case updates

- Manage calendars for 4 Associates along with appointments, travel arrangements, deadlines, etc.

- Prepare and submit travel and expense reimbursements and reports

- Respond to attorney requests for objection dates, file dates, and more

- Coordinate and manage conflict checks

- Open new client matters and obtain conflict waivers

Litigation Secretary Job Requirements:

- 7-10+ years as a Litigation Secretary required, preferably within Labor and Employment

- Prior knowledge with Compulaw strongly preferred

- Mastery of Microsoft Office: Powerpoint, Word, Outlook, Excel and Zoom
