JOB SUMMARY

Responds to the One-Call tickets for their area of responsibility and appropriately documents activities. Locates the company's pipelines and performs basic inspection, maintenance and repairs on pipeline equipment and right's-of-way including signs and markers. Communicates with landowners and contractors regarding any One-Calls. Inspects and ensures integrity of pipeline(s) during third-party excavations and crossings. Takes a lead role in local public awareness program.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

• Understands the company's One-Call Management Software and can navigate, enter comments and pictures and close tickets
  

• Understands the company's GIS Software to assist in one-call response determination
  
• Updates GIS Software to reflect accurate pipeline location when discrepancies are discovered
  
• Locates pipelines safely utilizing available tools such as maps, signage, markers, line locating devices, probe rod, etc.
  
• Monitors active third-party encroachments and excavations and intervenes as necessary if the company's line is threatened
  
• Serves as the company's OSHA Competent Person on excavations
  

• Performs and documents exposed pipe inspections
  
• Responds quickly to aerial reports of potential encroachment on the company's right-of-way
  
• Participates and successfully completes training programs, risk management reviews and safety meetings required to comply with state and federal regulations and company policy
  
• Reviews and follows procedures as necessary to ensure compliance of all company and industry standards to meet regulatory agency requirements
  
• Completes documentation accurately such as timesheets, MAXIMO work orders, safe job plans work permits and regulatory reports
  

• Optimizes work in most effective and efficient manner and leveraging priority within the tenets of S.A.F.E. and Stop Work Authority
  
• Maintains safety and Land Owner relationships through good housekeeping practices
  
• Utilizes tools and test equipment effectively and completes current calibration for accuracy on all pipeline locating equipment as needed
  
• Responds to operational emergencies as a member of an emergency response team
  
• Supervises contractors providing specialty services including Quality Assurance and Control
  

• Performs other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization

  High School Diploma or GED

  This job may operate in both inside gas plant conditions as well as in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity. Noise level may be loud at times. Regularly stoops, squats, kneels and crouches for durations up to 3 minutes. Periodically pulls/pushes doors open to move around the gas plant. Occasionally exerts pulling force of 130 pounds. Frequently may lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds. Occasionally may climb A-frame ladders.

SALARY

• The salary is $ 62,300-$99,700.
