Description:

The Learning Manager will be responsible for planning, implementing, managing, and administering high quality training initiatives in technical and non-technical learning programs for GameStop Fulfillment. This role focuses on training coordination, running programs, monitoring impact and success metrics, and assisting with some curriculum development, and in some cases the delivery of training. This role is responsible for the development of a successful and effective support team.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*

  • Responsible for training for up to 1,000 non-exempt employees.
  • Responsible for leading a team of 4 non-exempt trainers.
  • Collaborate effectively with GameStop Fulfillment Teams, subject matter experts (SMEs), and others to support department training programs and initiatives
  • Implement and manage all training, including safety and technical training
  • Apply adult learning principles to help design and assist in developing training that best fits the needs of the audience and content (online, classroom, or blended learning methods)
  • Oversee the design and development exercises, tutorials, job aids, and assessments
  • Monitor all assessment, survey, and operational data and perform ongoing needs analysis
  • Support and drive use of our internal Knowledge Base (i.e., access control, engage SMEs)

BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE)

  • At least 3 years of experience in a training program management role or similar with an undergraduate degree (in communication, education, technical or related field)
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a training program management role or similar without a degree
  • At least 3+ years of experience working with training software such as learning management systems (LMS), basic learning technologies (e.g., webinar tools), and MS Office.
  • Experience administering and managing new hire training programs, continuing education programs, or similar training and development projects/initiatives
  • Exposure to or experience using e-learning software and conferencing tools
  • Experience creating and editing ancillary resources and communication for the purpose of knowledge transfer and skill development; this includes collaborating with subject matter experts and managers to help write and develop training content.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish required
