I am looking for a Senior/Lead Ruby Engineer to join a rapidly growing startup company in the Finance industry. This is a 100% remote Software Engineer role and my client's platform is dedicated about driving liquidity and growth in the private market through innovation and scalable solutions. Our experts are well-versed in delivering high-quality, innovative solutions using a wide range of new technologies. We thrive on acting quickly, providing value, and demonstrating our values of boldness, humility, and accountability. They are 200-250 sized company backed by some large investors and have received $150 in funding. Our ideal candidate will have experience with Ruby, React, and Rails programming as well as be able to help drive solutions.

Tech Stack: Ruby, Rails, React. Additionally, Typescript and Financial Industry experience is a plus. Flexible on salary: $150-200K DOE, Bonus, Equity, Generous PTO.

What You Will Be Doing Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain data-driven web applications
- Mentor member on Internal and external frameworks, software development best practices, and new technologies
- Learn about business needs, present system operations and functionality, and suggested new requirements
- Understand domain expertise, collaborate with members of product design, information security, and business teams
- Create, maintain, and update automated unit and integration tests
- Present engineering concepts to organization
- Assist in the maintenance of a healthy system maintenance
What You Need for this Position Must have knowledge:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer using Ruby in a recent role
- Minimum 3+ years of experience with Rails
- Minimum 2+ years of experience with React
- Experience with functional programming AND design

Pluses:
- Typescript
- Financial Industry
