RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an IT System Engineer in Pleasant Prairie, WI.Job Purpose:The System Engineer will use professional technology skills and experience to maintain and enhance all network infrastructure, servers, storage hardware, virtualization technology, application management and end user support. This includes network security, network management and troubleshooting, selecting, and installing new applications, distributing software upgrades, monitoring daily activities, leading IT department projects. Their main contact will be with the Director Of IT, Strategic Partners/Consultants, and end users. The work may include the use of manuals, guidelines or other established procedures containing or relating to highly technical, scientific, legal, financial, or other similarly complex matters that can be understood or interpreted only by those with advanced or specialized knowledge or skills.Duties Include:- IT System Engineer designs, implements, installs, and manages major company infrastructure and initiatives
- Manages multi-user computer systems
- Troubleshoots and supports major computer networks across multiple locations
- Main Point of Contact for support issues and escalations
- Performs system maintenance, including patching and vulnerability response
- Leads cloud initiatives in a Microsoft environment
- Manage ticketing system, ensuring proper response times and ticket notes
- Implements standards and creates proper Standard Operation Procedure documentation
- Diagnoses hardware and software problems documenting root causes
- As an IT System Engineer, you will set up user accounts and resolves user problems, user requests and user errors
- Works as a team with co-workers and supervisors
- Maintains and manages company confidentiality and security of information systems
- Performs other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Four-year degree in Computer Science or a related field
- One to three years of experience in an IT Support role
- Microsoft Azure experience
- Azure Active Directory experience
- Microsoft Intune experience
- Experience administering and managing multi-location environments
- Administration experience within a Microsoft 365 and Meraki environment
- Ability to work under the stress of meeting many requests and deadlines that sometimes conflict
- Ability to communicate well verbally and orally
- Ability to organize, prepare, analyze, and interpret programming data to find and solve problems
- Ability to plan, prepare, execute, and debug computer programs
- Considerable knowledge of and the ability to apply necessary Internet fundamentals
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
