Job Title: IT Application Developer

Job Summary:

The IT Application Developer will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing current systems in place, developing new applications as required for business needs, and working with the rest of the development team to design and architect the growth of the platform.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain new and existing applications
• Document new and modified code, develop user and technical documentation on new or modified functionality alongside Business Analysts and QA
• Test program modifications against user specifications
• Collaborate with other developers on the design of new enhancements and/or applications
• Research and evaluate technology, third-party libraries, and other industry trends to assist with providing the best solutions
• Provide aid and guidance during the QA & UAT phases to quickly confirm the validity of potential issues and to determine the root cause and best resolution of verified issues
• Attending meetings and regularly communicating with team members and business stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences/Engineering, associated discipline, or equivalent technical experience
• Minimum 3-5 years of Application Development with .NET, TSQL, jQuery, and PL/SQL experience
• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and version control repositories (such as Git) required
• Experience with creating and troubleshooting .NET Web Applications required
• Knowledge of SQL Server and Oracle stored procedures and functions required
• Knowledge of .NET Framework, .NET Core. jQuery, JavaScript, and CSS required
• Experience with creating and troubleshooting WinForms applications preferred
• Experience with creating and troubleshooting APIs preferred
• Knowledge of SQL Developer and SQL Server Management Studio preferred
• Knowledge of Crystal Reports preferred
• Excellent knowledge of application development and Software Development Life Cycle methodologies
• Understanding of client/server software architecture and design
• Experience working with source control tools and application deployment best practices
• Ability to communicate effectively with end-users and technical team, including all levels of management
