A Financial Services Company is seeking a ISO - Infrastructure, Cloud, and Cyber Security in Charlotte, NC.

Role Description

The Information Security Officer acts as a cyber advisor to the business and is responsible for innovating and optimizing their products while continuing to maintain a level of security that aligns with the enterprise's risk posture. In this role, it is also necessary to ensure the technology is in compliance with cyber security standards and meets the specific business goals. Responsibilities include information gathering sessions with subject matter experts, documenting results, aggregating reporting, driving segment/ function cyber strategy, and providing the business unit with cyber advisory support.

• Acting as a cyber advisor to the business
• Ensure technology is in compliance with cyber security standards and meets the specific business goals
• Information gathering sessions with subject matter experts, documenting results, aggregating reporting, driving segment/ function cyber strategy, and providing the business unit with cyber advisory support
• In-depth knowledge in information systems and ability to identify, apply, and implement best practices.
• Understanding of key business processes and competitive strategies related to the IT function.
• Has the ability to solve complex problems by applying best practices.
• Has the ability to interpret and convey complex, difficult, or sensitive information.

Skills & Requirements

Must have skills:
• CISSP certificate
• 1-10, soft skills of a 7+
• Experience identifying and qualifying risks

Plus skills:
• Solutions or security architecture experience
• Experience in/ interacting with Governance
• Experience supporting large time sensitive projects
