Help provide group therapy services to individuals in on the road to recovery from substance abuse!

Become a part of our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Clinician in the Intensive Outpatient program (IOP) at Behavioral Health Network! Intensive Outpatient Clinicians use an individualized, person-centered approach to provide individuals served with comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, and continuing care & transition planning. IOP Clinicians develop and implement psychosocial educational groups, focusing on the recovery model and assist in leading these therapy groups.

Additionally, Intensive Outpatient Clinicians help develop IOP policies & procedures, client satisfaction surveys, and help market the IOP program. They also stay current with developments in the field and complete other duties, as needed.

The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a short-term, non-residential substance abuse program. It is for individuals who need outpatient therapy more than once-a-week. The program acts as a step-down from Detox or CSS Program services and also a step-up from weekly outpatient treatment. Treatment consists of daily group sessions, as well as working with a Counselor who specializes in addiction.

IOP Clinicians at Behavioral Health Network have the following qualities:

  • Minimum of Master's Degree in a mental health-related field (required).
  • LICSW or LMHC (required)
  • Meets BSAS training requirements (required).
  • Experience providing clinical services with adults that have serious mental health/substance abuse issues often with co-occurring substance abuse disorders.
  • Experience with clinical assessments, diagnoses, treatment plan reviews and discharge planning.
  • Strong group facilitation background.
  • Familiarity with internet, word processing and email systems.
  • Experience with case management services.
  • Ability to work in fast pace environment, multitasking, time management and milieu work.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish (preferred)
