Inspector III - B Shift

Salary: $30.00 USD Hourly - $40.00 USD Hourly
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Inspector III - B Shift
•okay with someone who is also a machinist - has hybrid machinist/Inspector exp
•parts range from small to the size of a motorcycle

•GED/tech school/machining training all preferred - no degree required

•Process for failures - make sure the machine and component are clean, record findings in the database, generate a non-conformance, goes onto Quality engineering for disposition

•Blue light experience would be super helpful - typically comes from someone in automotive Atos5 with GOM software?

•GD&T level is very high for this role

•Certs; Tracker/Roamer training, Run Out Machine training, GOM, all would be extremely helpful

•Looking for candidates that can be resourceful and can solve problems on their own •Setup, program and operate Laser Tracker using design data to inspect make and buy components.

•Perform first article inspections and document per AS9102.

•Perform in-process, and final inspections.

•Document, track, and complete discrepancy reports.

•Perform daily/weekly/monthly PM on machines and document.

•Maintain configuration control on files and job records.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in dimensional inspection of aerospace components. Superior blueprint reading skills including GD&T principles.
• Excellent communication skills. Fluent in the use of precision hand tools, gages, optical comparator, and surface plate work.
• Experience inspecting tight tolerance, high value components. Familiar with the use
