What You've Accomplished

You have completed a High School Diploma. You have worked in a mechanical maintenance field, such as, repair of mechanical systems, metal fixture fabrication, welding, equipment alignment techniques and repair of pumps role for at least 5years and are ready to join Framatome and help deliver clean, safe energy and advance nuclear technology.

The incumbent will perform all phases of skill maintenance work including fabrication and installation, modification, routine inspection, replacement and testing of standard and special mechanical equipment within the plant. Due to the variety of tasks, a thorough knowledge of maintenance techniques, material, tools and equipment is required. Examine equipment to diagnose trouble and effect repairs or replacement of broken parts. Adjust functional parts of equipment as required. May work form engineering drawings or rough sketches in performing occasional fabrication work. Must adhere to established industry and safety practices. Inspection completed work and ensure that work conforms to requirements of local building and safety codes. Must be certified where required.

Must be able to follow and carry out written and oral instructions and perform basic mathematical calculations. Mechanical aptitude and basic equipment operation experience is desirable. Must be physically able to lift 50 pounds, bend, stoop, and remain in a standing position for extended periods. Good eyesight, manual dexterity and good physical condition are required. Must be able to work a variety of shifts including rotating shift assignment. Ability to function well as a member of the work team.

As an Industrial Millwright in Richland, WA (remote work will also be considered), you will be part of the proven team in the Fuel Business Unit. Your work will include:
  • Perform all phases of skilled maintenance work
  • Fabrication/installation, modification, routine inspection, replacement and testing of standard and special mechanical equipment, equipment adjustments, work from engineering drawings or sketches to perform fabrication.
  • Adhere to established industry and safety practices, including lockout/tagout, confined space entry, and personal protective equipment use.
  • Assigned tasks will include work inside radiological areas.
  • This position is part of the Maintenance Department and is represented by the TriCities Craft Association (TCCA).
  • Likely that shift work will be required.

Your Total Rewards Package

The starting rate for this position is $49.85 per hour. After a successfully completed introductory period the pay increases to $52.47 per hour, and may also include annual incentives and benefits.
