Human Resource Manager

Job Summary

The Human Resource Manager is responsible for overseeing all HR functions for the organization. This includes recruiting, hiring, training, employee relations, compensation and benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws and regulations. The HR Manager serves as a strategic partner to executive leadership on workforce planning and talent management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Oversee the recruitment and hiring process across all departments, ensuring proper staffing levels
- Administer compensation and benefits programs to attract, motivate and retain employees
- Manage employee relations issues including disciplinary actions, grievances, and terminations
- Ensure legal compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends and best practices in HR management
- Develop and conduct new employee orientation and training programs
- Administer performance review process for all staff
- Maintain employee records and personnel files
- Provide guidance to managers and supervisors on HR policies and procedures

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
- 5+ years of progressive HR management experience
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle highly confidential information
- Proficient with HRIS and productivity software
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
