RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's client is a family-owned organization is seeking a Human Resource Director in Mattawan, MI. This company offers a great compensation package, PTO, and a great working environment. The position is on-site Monday - Friday.Summary:This HR role will report directly to the owners and be responsible for managing & executing the employee lifecycle including recruitment, preboarding, onboarding, orientation, training, development, retention, benefits, performance management and exits.Duties:
  • Ensures a positive work environment and awareness by all staff of company goals and objectives
  • Responsible for analyzing compensation plans, implementing policies and procedures, new systems, and performance management
  • Managing staff & implementing process improvements


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or Organizational Development; Human Resource Certifications are a plus
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Human Resources with 5 years in a management position
  • Manufacturing industry experience is required
  • Experience with Excel, Word
  • Communication skills, written and verbal must be exceptional when communicating with Leadership
  • Strong organizational management skills
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated and positive attitude
  • Able to work in a professional environment and to manage projects with minimal supervision
  • Ability to Manage large number of employees is required


The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
