Position starts at $14.50 per hour.

Operates multi and single heat press machines to seal name, initial, or decorative designs on garments, household articles, material, or uniforms along with patches or emblems on material or garments by performing the following duties.

Responsibilities

• Reads work order to determine type and location of twill to apply on garments.
• Ability to match garment styles and quantities based on information from shop orders.
• Must be able to use computer to look for information about garment descriptions on the network.
• Ability to press both side buttons simultaneously on heat press to secure presses before heat is applied
• Load garments onto heat presses and apply patch.
• Turn on and read automatic temperature thermostat and be able to adjust & regulates gauges to control heat of presses based on garment being produced.
• Adjust & regulates setscrews to control air presser of presses on garment being produced.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred but not required.
• Basic computer skills.
