Finance- Cash Control Auditor

Overview:

Are you interested in learning the basics of revenue accounting and loss prevention. Kings Dominion has an opportunity for a Seasonal Cash Audit Associate. This position is responsible for reviewing and conducting daily audits of cashier activity.

• Review cash recycler and POS activity to screen for variances and ensure all funds are returned daily.
• Investigate and escalate variances at pre-determined thresholds as appropriate.
• Monitor cash recycler locations remotely via video.
• Audit cashier activity in real-time and against historical trends.
• Report on aberrant cashier activity and assist with resulting investigations.
• Audit other park resources and assets as assigned.
• Refill and maintain cash recyclers as directed.
• Troubleshoot cash recycler errors.
• Provide guest service according to Cedar Fair standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions and giving directions.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Cedar Fair Safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.
• Meet scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs. 
• Meet Cedar Fair's attendance requirements as outlined in Cedar Fair's attendance policies. 
• Adhere to Cedar Fair's Rules of Conduct including specific costuming and grooming standards as outlined in Employee Guidelines and other park/division specific policies and procedures.
• Other duties may be assigned. 

• Ability to pass a finance background check. 
• Prior Cash Handling experience preferred.
• Ability to pass a basic math assessment. 
• Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law. 
• Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs. 
• Driver's License.
