Goodwill SoCal is seeking a mission-driven, hard-working Finance & Business Strategy Analyst who will be an exceptional addition to our high-performing team. In this role, you will act as the key liaison between Finance and the various business lines by applying technical solutions to maintain and enhance existing business systems infrastructure. You will focus on supporting, developing, improving and automating business processes that enable sound planning and decision making for the various business lines. This critical role will have responsibilities in the areas of Business Systems, BI Reporting, Project Management and Process Automation.

Responsibilities

  • Become Goodwill's expert in administration and management of ERP/NetSuite, Point of Sale/NetSuite, DOMO/BI Reporting, Adaptive Insights, Warehouse Management Systems and AP Automation Software Systems.
  • Support maintenance and development of business intelligence tools, such as NetSuite and DOMO.
  • Act in dual role of project and technical analyst to initiate, collaborate on large scale process improvement initiatives within Finance, Retail and other channels of business.
  • Coordinate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and define appropriate systems solutions.
  • Responsible for changes to existing configuration; configure fields, workflows, roles/permissions, integrations, custom rules, reports, and dashboards.
  • Act as solution consultant to understand current business processes, challenges and their supporting tech stack.
  • Provide analysis and feedback on financial performance and key performance measures.
  • Work with external vendors supporting business systems to troubleshoot and triaging daily maintenance issues and develop creative solutions to fix issues from short and long term perspective.
Education & Experience
A Bachelor's Degree from a four-year university, with courses in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems or Business Administration, is required Minimum 1 year of NetSuite and DOMO experience and supporting financial models Strong Knowledge in NetSuite Administration, DOMO/BI Reporting, Adaptive Insights, AP Automation, Warehouse Management Systems Advance knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint; Access a plus Must be detailed oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to work well with others in a fast paced, dynamic environment Experience in creating financial models, forecasting, and reporting with variance analysis. Strong partnership and collaborative style with excellent verbal, written and presentation skills. Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects as well as strong follow through skills. Ability to command credibility and influence across the organization. Ability to think strategically and act tactically. Ability to accomplish objectives with minimal supervision.
