Zurich is currently hiring an Executive Assistant II to join the Investment Management team! As an Executive Assistant, you will be providing personal assistance and support for the Head of Alternative Investments and CEO of Zurich Alternative Asset Management, LLC. You will be supporting the day-to-day activities of the CEO of Zurich Alternative Asset Management, LLC and building trusting relationships, while contributing to the realization of the strategic objectives in the designated area. The preferred location will be in the New York, NY office. An Executive Assistant is responsible for a variety of tasks: Under general supervision, ability to independently perform tasks and administrative work for the CEO of Zurich Alternative Asset Management, LLC. Organizes and prioritizes own assignments to ensure timely and accurate completion of work. Collaborates with teammates to ensure accurate and proactive approach to Senior Management needs. Handles and coordinates calendar management, domestic and international travel, and expense reporting. Runs multiple month end reports and distributes to appropriate team levels. Greets and directs internal and external customers to the appropriate person(s). Handles internal customer and employee inquiries. May refer more complex inquiries and/or complaints to appropriate personnel. Answers and screens phone calls and responds to simple e-mails for Senior Management. Composes routine and non-routine correspondences from brief notes, oral or written instructions. Receives incoming mails and forwards to appropriate personnel to handle. Controls, coordinates, and maintains CEO of Zurich Alternative Asset Management, LLC, schedules and coordinates meetings, appointments, and other activities. Does follow-up work as needed. Maintains supplies, coordinates travel logistics using various procurement tools. Prepares expense reports and handles payments for expense items. Supporting presentations and organization of projects, along with administrative support of projects. Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent and 5 or more years of experience in the Administrative area OR Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 3 or more years of experience in the Administrative area Experience planning, organizing, and scheduling work Preferred Qualifications: Detail oriented Ability to prioritize Ability to multi-task Strong verbal and written communication skills Project management skills Advanced Microsoft Office skills Knowledge of company operations and organizational procedures Administrative experience in a multi-tasked, high-paced, confidential environment Knowledge and/or enjoyment in world travel and world affairs Ability to be self-sufficient and self-reliant as needed in the position Ability to work across multiple time zones domestically and internationally Compensation for roles at Zurich varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. The hourly range provided is a nationwide market range and has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location where the position may be filled. As required by local law, Zurich provides in good faith a reasonable range of compensation for roles.
