Estimator Job Title: Construction Estimator
Location: In office - Greater Philadelphia
Salary: 100k-150k Depending on Experience

We are seeking an Estimator to join the team Utilizing their understanding of our business, Estimators identify all conceptual, negotiated, and competitive bid estimates, as well as interfacing with project managers, all support teams, and clients.
What You Will Be Doing The estimator has responsibility for the administration and execution of estimating activities for $50M+ healthcare projects and industrial projects
Responsible for keeping the team informed of activities, progress, and problems as it pertains to Estimating activities
Developing accurate pricing for design-phase or GMP estimates
Maintains appropriate industry contacts to insure the best and final information on market pricing and trends
Identify and resolve problems under conditions of incomplete information and uncertainty
Schedules department estimating and deliverables and balances workload accordingly
Reviews all plans and specifications permit set of drawings, and Owner requirements with the estimating staff
Prepares bid proposal, including the cost breakdown, clarifications, scope, and exclusions
Extensive experience in conceptual healthcare estimating
What You Need for this Position 3+ years of experience in the construction industry
Knowledge of suitable contractors and suppliers for all types of projects
Ability to travel throughout all areas of construction sites during all phases of a project
Leadership and motivational skills
Familiar with the use of On-Screen Take-off software program
Leverage Business Insights - Understand and act on industry trends, the local market and economic conditions, and our business model to make decisions and create a competitive advantage
